The
digital libraries research community has been rapidly expanding
and diversifying, and it's getting more difficult to keep track
of relevant information. In an effort to further assist communication
within the digital libraries community, DLI2 would like to provide
a single, permanent archive site for relevant discussion lists.
We hope to start the conversations by suggesting a number of topics,
and we are working to identify a group of listowners or moderators
with whom we can consult as we develop the lists. We encourage everyone
to contribute information such as new research advances, digital
libraries projects and their research accomplishments, events such
as conferences and workshops, and funding sources.
DLIST
offers the following services on a list by list basis:
*subscription
via the web
*archiving
and searching of current and future postings
*searching
of past disussion archives of most lists
We
invite comments and suggestions,
and if you are a listowner or moderator, please consider archiving
your list on our site. The more lists that show an interest in this
project, the more useful this site will be. We also would like to
encourage everyone to list their contact information on the addresses
page.
Thank
you for your support
